Description
Cloudy, unfiltered appearance with a deep golden color and coppery hues. Oxidative nose with hints of compost and apple puree, white cherries, dried yellow flowers and spices, like pink pepper. Aromas of flor and yeast result in its complexity. Full bodied, with an oxidative character of dried herbs and nuts, with spiky but medium acidity and mineral elements. Medium length aftertaste with hints of apple, spices, herbs and mature stone fruits.

The vineyard is over 60 years old, located at an elevation of 250m and around the winery, perfectly acclimatized to the microclimate and geography of the area. The dryness of the vineyard’s soil in combination with its age do not allow the yield to exceed 500 to 600 kg per acre. The shape of the vines is a work of art – formed by humans and by nature at the same time.
After the grapes are crushed the fermentation is conducted with the skins inside a terracotta amphora of 500L, in the style of ancient Greeks, for 6 weeks, where the extraction of the phenolics and the aromas of the gentle Rozaki variety is possible. With no added sulfites, yeast or filtration the wine is bottled effectively and reaches the consumer as a natural, orange wine.
